The neighborhood watch program isn't what it used to be. Technology has enabled us to be more proactive in finding new ways to fight crime.
One neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia has experienced a sudden rise in crime due to the economy and loss of police enforcement, which is down by 10%.
By setting up video feed that streams live to the police, law enforcement has been able to catch criminals quickly thanks to technology.
One victim was able to call the police while a burglary was taking place at her home as she was watching from her work place. The suspects were apprehended on the spot.
