Ventura: Armed Robbery

Location: Auto Zone, 2610 E. Main St.
Date/Time Occurred: April 7, 2009, 8:40 p.m.
Officer(s) Involved: Numerous Ventura Police Officers.
Victim(s): Auto Zone.
Suspect(s):
#1:Black Male Adult, 35-40 years, 6’ – 3”, 270 pounds, wearing a white hat, green jacket and black pants.
#2: Black Male Adult, 30-35 years, 6’ – 0”, 200 pounds, wearing a maroon jacket and dark pants. Both were armed with handguns.

Narrative:

On the above date and time both suspects entered the business. Each pulled out handguns and confronted the employees and customers inside the store.

After taping each of the customers’ and employees’ hands together, the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and office. Both then fled the store on foot and were last seen running southbound away from the business. None of the victims sustained any injuries.
