I'm looking for historical information on an old attempted muder case - late 1950's, early 1960's. A woman placed her baby in a dumpster - the baby was found alive and survived. The mother was tried and acquitted. She was represented by Irving Kanarek - the lawyer who years later would defend Charles Manson.
