Deborah Matis-Engle of Shingletown, CA, was sentenced to 6 years in prison for ramming a car in 2007 while texting on her cell phone.

She caused one of the cars to explode in flames, killing Petra Monika Winn of Redding, CA.

This is a similar sentence that Nicholas Lagrotta recently received for drunk driving and killing
Karey Marsh.

The roads don't belong to you, they belong to all of us.

Don't text/drink and drive unless you want to serve 6 years in prison.

My prayers go out to the families of both.
