At approximately 5:13 Friday evening, Michael Grair's body was found inside his white Cadillac Escalade behind a vacant commercial center he owned. The engine was still running.

He was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso.

It is estimated that Mr. Grair, 64, was shot sometime between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM and believed that he was on his way to meet a potential client about renting the building.

He was known to carry large sums of money and the possibility of robbery has not been ruled out nor has it been established as the clear motive.

Location

The building was a former LA Workout, now vacant, and located at 4542 Las Posas Road in Camarillo, on the NW corner of Las Posas Road and Lewis Road.
