Officer(s) Involved: Numerous Ventura Police Officers.
Victim(s): 30 year old Female, Ventura Resident and 28 year old Male, Ventura Resident .
Suspect(s): Alex Sanchez, 21 yrs, Oxnard Resident, Roman Celis, 18 yrs, Oxnard Resident.

Narrative
On 02/27/09 at about 2313 hours, the victims were walking in the parking lot of Buena Lanes when Sanchez approached the female victim and pointed a gun at her demanding her purse. After obtaining the female’s purse, he then brandished the gun at the male victim before retreating back to an awaiting vehicle.
Responding Ventura Police Patrol Officers were provided a description of the suspect vehicle and an Officer located the vehicle in the area of Walker St. and Victoria Ave. The officer followed the vehicle and witnessed Celis throwing items out of the passenger side window.

The vehicle was stopped in the area of Sperry Ave. and Valentine Rd. Both Suspects were taken into custody without incident. During a search of the vehicle Officers located a loaded gun and some of the victims property. Additional property of the victim was located in the area where the passenger was observed discarding items out of the window.
Sanchez was booked in to Ventura County Jail in reference to Robbery, Brandishing a firearm, and possession of a firearm in a vehicle. Celis was booked in to Ventura County Jail in reference to being an accessory after a crime.
