Overview

Posted by Elidet Reyes
Our mission is to create a plethora of resources to empower our community to be more vigilant and preventive.

Our local law enforcement cannot be everywhere at once, so they rely on people like us to report crime and do our civic duty.

Here are just a few of the goals we would like to share with our readers:

Online Strategy

We have created a myspace & twitter page.
This will help us interact and communicate with our online savvy market.

We have also updated the look of our own site!

Newsletter

You can sign up to receive a digest of any updates to our blog. It is only sent out on the days we post a blog entry, which can be almost daily. If this is too intrusive, we recommend signing up to our RSS feed.

To sign up to our newsletter, please use the email subscription form with your email. After signing up, you will need to confirm your subscription by confirming your email.

Community Outreach

We will be more active in informing the community of all the resources available not only to victims, but for those who would like to help but would like to remain anonymous.

We will also be focusing on bringing together the cultural gap between our diverse county. Racism is very real and many times, it is due to misunderstandings and stereotypes. Our main focus will also be to reach out to the Spanish speaking community, who do not always have the same resources available.

Here at the Ventura County Crime Blog, we are always open to ideas and suggestions. Feel free to contact us with any information, tips, suggestions, links, etc.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
