Two Armed Robberies

Police Investigate Two Armed Robberies

2.09-26-08 at 0325 hours
LOCATIONS:
1.1955 S. Patterson Road, Oxnard
2.2060 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Oxnard
SUSPECT:
Hispanic male, heavy set, wearing dark clothes, gloves and mask; armed with a knife.
VICTIMS:
7-Eleven Stores (both locations)

DETAILS:

Oxnard police are investigating the overnight armed robbery of two convenience stores that appear to have been committed by the same suspect.

Officers responded to a call of a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 1955 S. Patterson Rd. Officers were told the suspect (described above) entered the business armed with a large knife. He demanded money and fled the location on foot westbound on Hemlock Street.

At about 0325 hours, officers responded to second armed robbery call at the 7-Eleven located at 2060 East Pleasant Valley Rd. The suspect was described as the same in the prior robbery on Patterson. The suspect was seen leaving the business on foot towards Beaumont Street.
