Robert Worthley, born and raised in Ventura County, is a retired Navy Master Chief Petty Officer. He earned his BS in Operations Management and has over 30 years experience in Manufacturing Management. He has directed the program management and supply chain functions in aerospace and solar power.

Robert is no stranger to volunteering his time with law enforcement. He is currently the President of Ventura County Crime Stoppers, VIP (Volunteer in Policing) for the Ventura Police Department, and Volunteer Services Coordinator for the Oxnard Police Department.

Robert has also served as President, Saint Bonaventura High School Parent-Teacher Guild, President, Kimball Road Homeowners Association and President, Ventura County Foster Parents Association.

He is known across the county for his media appearances regarding Crime Stoppers, whether on television, radio or the newspaper.

Along with David Keith of the Oxnard Police Department, he has been an instrumental part in guiding this blog.

He has been happily married for 46 years to his wife, Zaida. Aside from their 2 children, they also have 2 grandchildren.
