The 2-1-1 Ventura County Blue Book is a comprehensive, community referral guide of health and human services in Ventura County. Crisis Services are available by dialing 2-1-1*. Services include: housing, financial aid, legal services, health care, counseling, and more.

The California Innocence Project
The California Innocence Project provides pro bono (free of charge) legal assistance to inmates who maintain their factual innocence in the participation of the crime(s) for which they were convicted. If you know someone who is innocent, you may submit your case to the California Innocence Project for consideration. Please click here to read the requirements before submitting.

Current Mugshots
Submit tips anonymously through their website, phone number or text message. Rewards of up to $1,000 are rewarded for tips leading to an arrest.

Neighborhood Watch is an organized group of neighbors who spend some of their time observing more closely any activity or situation that depreciates the appearance or safety of their community. They report everything from crimes in progress to a slow buildup of weeds and rubbish on a property in their neighborhood.

Ventura & Oxnard Police Departments have implemented a new on-line traffic collision report retrieval system.
Individuals involved in a traffic collision and their insurance companies can obtain copies of traffic collision reports via the Internet. Collision reports involving special circumstances, named suspects in hit & runs collisions or fatalities will not be available on-line. The cost of a traffic collision report will remain at $17.00.

Parent Program
The Parent Project is a ten-week program that empowers parents to deal with their child's behavioral problems. Oxnard Police Officers equip parents with the tools they need to be successful. Classes are offered both in English and Spanish.

A collection of online resources for parents addressing online safety, bullying, and how to address important issues with your children.

The Polly Klaas Foundation is a national non-profit that helps find missing children, prevents children from going missing, and promotes laws like Amber Alert that help keep children safe. It also features resources for parents regarding child and internet safety, as well as a free Child Safety Kit. It is recommended that all parents order this free kit as soon as possible.

Reverse 911
Reverse 911 can be used to deliver alerts when there is a threat to the public health or safety of residents in the cities of Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County.
[The Cities of Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura have opted not to participate in the County’s REVERSE 911® System. They have their own community notification systems capable of alerting residents. Please contact them for further information.]
